So where the hell is the original Syd Anglican Forum gone

My posts about paedophia are gone this morning ......I put heaps of work into that thread to expose the paedophilia in the church.

So bloody typical of these church orgs to cooperate in their endeavours to cover up these crimes

You bet I’m bloody angry ........helping keep this concealed by whatever method has to be seen as ASSISTING these paeds.
NO OTHER WAY TO LOOK AT IT!

Just the same typical behaviour of the Anglican as the Catholic ......tarred with the same brush .

I tried to build a bridge from this end ......I even thought for a split second that someone was listening.

...I was bloody wrong again. Once you have been USED by any of these churches they treat you like flotsam.

Watch the Doubt trailer (no, go google it yourselves for a change)....you’ll see that we hold our kids up higher than we do these priests and clergy.

So with all your pious talk ....you’re all just the same as the paedophiles and just played me along so you could do that other scumbag thing ....watching.  Over 16500 views made it the second highest viewed thread over the Virgin Mary thread.
All ghouls ....or genuinely interested….I think the former by the outcome.

I’m starting to think my son is correct…..he says, the way I’ve been treated and deceived, anyone in a cassock still must be on their side and just as guilty…..he recommends a walk through the diocese with his BLF buddies and baseball bat anything in black.
Funny I grew up thinking the same thing about what the Japanese did to my father on the Burma Railway ......but I’ve grown to learn that it’s the authorities in general that get us to these places…..and this paedophia is no different in the way the authorities have allowed the situation to become the way it is .....leaving no avenues to justice open.

The ignorance on that Anglican forum was quite apparent in as much as the last but one post blamed this all on homosexuality hehehehheheeeeeeee….clowns!

I’ll wander back over to the Syd Anglican forum later and see if it’s still missing .....for the tiny bit of bandwidth it would take up I can’t see why it can’t be left there?? :(

sorry that the last edit of errors…..am a bit angry :(

Hi Michael
It has been announced for several months that the forums were being discontinued. You should take up your concerns about the particular thread with Sydney Anglican Media. I don’t think anyone here wanted the forums to cease.

I had some replys about it staying up as an archive from some members who I thought knew what they were talking about.
maybe they were misled also.

.....don’t worry I’ll take my drugs and shut up and be a good little goy.

(manipulation of the highest order I put it down to!.....the whole worlds sucked in is my belief!)

[ Edited: 02 February 2009 06:54 AM by michael scull]

Michael, the closure of the SydAng forum was announced months ago. If you had stuff there that you wanted to save you had plenty of time to copy it for you own archiving purposes. Please put the idea of any sinister motives on behalf of SydAng Media to bed.

Yes, evil things have been done (and no doubt will continue to be done) by members of the church. Perpetrators of these evil acts need to be stopped and brought to justice. Later they’ll be accountable to God.

However, your vent of emotion here simply tarnishes your own name and it doesn’t encourage healthy discussion.

Hi Michael,

I hope you’ve had your morning coffee and smelling the roses ;)

I too took a while to work out how to ‘find’ the “lost” archives. And, like an Indiana Jones adventure, I finally discovered that the secret was right there in front of us all the time !

1. click onto :    http://www.sydneyanglicans.net/

2. look at the bottom of the page - on black bar that lists “shortcuts”  - then click on 4th title “forums”

3.  Voila - there they all are. No conspiracy theory here after all ;)

(  I even surprised myself when I found how simple it was. Of course, it would have been easier if there had been a notice posted pointing this out for us - but don’t we appreciate things more when we have to work at it ourselves. )

Time for another coffee for me. Have a great day !

Cheers,  Kevin

Good on ya, Kev!

David McKay - 02 February 2009 08:55 AM

Good on ya, Kev!

I owe it all to those detecting skills which I have developed from watching all those “Jonathan Creek” and “The Bill”  episodes ;)

No wonder I couldn’t see it. I’ve been watching Get Smart!

Stuck in the ‘cone of silence’ I see? :=P

Hi everyone,

My understanding is that the old Sydney Anglican forums will be archived for viewing.

So please be assured there is no conspiracy.

We are having teething problems fitting the new content into the old design… everything won’t be bedded down until the new design comes on board in March.

I’ll post more details when i know more.

cheers
Jeremy (Managing Editor of Southern Cross at Anglican Media Sydney)

That reminds me that we all need to ‘get smart’ about Jesus. Our pastor preached on Jesus and the healing of the mute man in Luke 11. Referring to the mute and the crowd who attributed Jesus’ healing to Beelzebub, he spoke about ‘dumb and dumber’ ;)

If you have a copy of Dumb and Dumber, you may find my son’s band The Vaughans, performing one of their two hits at the beginning of it.
I never watched D and D myself, and didn’t like the follow up, Sense and Sensibility either.

And if we check, we realise that the last poster was, ta da… Donna, talking about Virgin Birth and Catholic belief. (Which is sort of ironic really).

Hi Michael,

The forums (and your thread) are still where they were and still readable

The only issue is that there is no update discussion list on the front page.

You can get to the forums by following the links in the section finder.

cheers
jeremy

Right on the money regarding my predictions on the old forums!  (I.e. that the last post would be most likely by an RC in an RC thread)

Boy I went off half cocked this morning heheheheeeee
Sorry Guys, I’ll blame my catholic education (welI got half a one) for my paranoia.

Just a little edgy I guess when everyone has this hide it! mentality.  Thanks for the effort and I do hope it doesn’t end up buried too deep.
I don’t keyboard and my efforts on all that dribble in that thread about paedophilia didn’t come easily…..keeping in mind that the catholic legal teams would have been watching for a slip of the tongue that would see in court in the thrice.
Every word in that thread is true and provable .....or the catholics would have me for breakfast as you could imagine and they would be right to do so.
But here I sit waiting on the summons and nothing comes.

figure it out yourselves .....they are bent!

But I live in hope….the human race is really down to the one lot of gods now….closer all the time to total atheism .....through the centuries we have shed hundreds of god as people saw the light.  ...only a few to go ;)

BTW - we got commenting back on properly at Syd Ang if people want to check it out.

a highlight of today’s content is the first in Archbishop Jensen’s weekly Essential Jesus Bible Study.

Ii think this shows that we are trying to think ‘outside the box’ in terms of discussion and not just an Anglican version of ‘online opinion’

[I won’t link in case that breaches Luke’s posting guidelines. I’m sure he can put up a link if he so chooses]

Link away, and glad you’ve got commenting happening!

Yes - it was “the last post” posted - but not necessarily the last post “read”. Many had long ago given up trying to fathom the depths of certain threads ;)

Sorry Guys, I’ll blame my catholic education (welI got half a one) for my paranoia.

Half a catholic education eh ?  You mean they only taught you 5 of the commandments ;)

Question is which five?  ;)

....always seemed to have trouble with that ‘neighbours wife’ one :(

[ Edited: 02 February 2009 02:35 PM by michael scull]

Luke, you can rip the thread out if you like.
I didn’t come here to screw up your forum with junk threads and if no one objects our fearless leader can exercise his right and he won’t get any comments from me ;)

Just a thought on this stinkin’ afternoon with an aircond that ain’t quite doing it! :)

No worries, closing this one out…
