Hi all,

Unfortunately a Nigerian scam artist manually registered here about 12 days ago, and sent several scam messages. I was alerted by a member, and promptly deleted the private messages and banned the user. I thought that was it, but it appears email to members may have been sent before the member was banned as well.

My apologies that this got through - if you got a Nigerian scam email via this site, just delete it, as I hope you do with any and all scam emails.

There’s no harm in having opened it or anything like that, and hopefully the spam filtering in your email program caught it, but in any case please ignore it.

Apologies for the long delay in posting about it too - I nipped it in the bud, but I should have mentioned it all the same.

Dearest Mr Luke, That $4 Million ($4,000,000 USD) has been swallowed up in excess bank fees, so I was once again broke. However, God in his providence has helped me by answering my prayers. ( I know this is true because I heard of the glorious riches available through the propagation of the Prosperity Gospel at the mighty church of Mountain Chorus - so amen to that - oh yes, and “praise the Lord”.

Now, Mr Luke, I think that you are thinking that I am deluded - and just the victim of a Nigerian scam. But, this following email ( received just 20 minutes ago ) could NEVER be regarded as a “Nigerian” scam - o ye of little faith, dear Luke. My providential supplier of USD $1.5 million is from the “Republic of BENIN” - so that disproves your sceptical claims.
